What is Rotaract?
Rotaract is basically an international voluntary service and personal development club for young adults between the ages of 18 and 30.Rotaract is part of a global effort of Rotary International to bring peace and international understanding to the world.

This effort starts at community level and gradually expands towards international level.Through community and international service projects; Rotaractors help to improve the lives of those around them by giving their time, attention, support, guidance and love.At the same time, Rotaract enhances its members' leadership and professional skills by instilling good ethical values in work, community and personal life; while establishing a network of friends.

What Is Rotaract's Goals and Purpose?
The purpose of Rotaract is to provide an opportunity for young men and women to enhance the knowledge and skills that will assist them in personal development, to address the physical and social needs of their communities, and to promote better relations between all people worldwide through a framework of friendship and service.

The goals of Rotaract are:

1. To develop professional and leadership skills;
2. To emphasise respect for rights of others, based on recognition of the worth of each individual;
3. To recognise the dignity and value of all useful occupations as opportunities to serve;
4. To recognise, practice and promote ethical standards as leadership qualities and vocational responsibilities;
5. To develop knowledge and understanding of the needs, problems an opportunnities in the community and worldwide;
6. To provide opportunities for personal and group activities to serve the community and promote international understanding and goodwill toward all people.
